This program is the nuts and bolts of the Instructor Development process, with a combination of eLearning, presentations, workshops and assessments, both in the classroom and in-water.

The course covers the following:
- eLearning - The knowledge development is done prior to attending the course and covers all the segments required to understand the in class sessions. It is available in many languages to make it easier for all nationalities to understand.
- As a PADI professional its essential that you understand the PADI Standards and Procedures, this will be covered early on in the course and we will keep revisiting it so by the end of the course you will have a good idea of where to find the information you need in a timely manner.
- We will take a look at the core PADI courses that you will be able to teach as Open Water Scuba Instructor, and we will be taking a look at the standards of each course, go over how to structure each course, how to teach the skills and some marketing techniques.
- We will take a look at your dive and rescue skills, polish them up if necessary then give some teaching tips to make your demonstrations look smooth.
- You will give knowledge, confined water and open water teaching presentations, after we have shown you how to of course.
- We will cover some risk management and sales techniques., and a bunch of other useful stuff.
Prerequisites
- PADI Divemaster or equivalent rating
- 18 years old
- Medical clearance to dive, without restrictions or conditions signed by a physician within the previous 12 months
- EFR Primary & Secondary Care course completion within the last 24 months
- Documentation of all qualifying certifications for entry level, advanced, rescue and divemaster.
- Diver for at least 6 months
- 60 logged dives (proof required) to start and 100 logged dives for completion.
